Are all sparkling wines 🍾 the same?

Definitely NO❌. There is the traditional method (second fermentation in the bottle) and the Charmat method (second fermentation in the tank), each one with its own proportions of base wines and, in addition, each one has a different final style that we usually recognize on the label under the names of nature, brut, extra brut, sec, demisec and sweet.

Today I want to talk to you about the only winery in Argentina that specializes in bubbles. I am referring to @bodegacruzat who presented some news a few days ago. It is worth mentioning that Lorena Mulet, its winemaker, specializes in sparkling wines with a focus on products using the traditional method (Swipe and listen to what Lorena has to say about her new products 🎬️)

What did they launch?

🍾 Cruzat Early Harvest. A 100% Pinot Noir Extra Brut that is low in calories, low in alcohol at just 9.4%, very fresh and drinkable.

🍾 Organic. A 100% Chardonnay from certified vineyards in Luján de Cuyo. A nature, a sparkling #singlevineyard.

🍾Cruzat Milmésime 2017. A sparkling wine from an exceptional vintage of low quantity but great quality. As Lorena told us, the next one will be in 2021. This sparkling wine has 63 months of yeast.

🍸️ Chardonnay Ratafia. A unique liqueur on the market made from brandy obtained from the distillation of the best base wine from the winery, macerated with orange and lemon peel and sweetened with fresh grape must. A product inspired by the liqueurs produced by the great French champagne companies at the end of the harvest.

Three news, three styles, three ideas to share and enjoy different bubbles 🥂 And what kind of sparkling wine do you like? I read you 😍
