To start, I'll tell you that this wine, which I had the honor of tasting, is a #fondecave from @trapichearg from the winery's historical collection. A very evolved but perfectly preserved Cabernet Sauvignon, with some notes of sherry but maintaining its freshness with notes of evolution.
Its label in English tells us that it was intended to be exported but, as Sergio Casé @sergioamichu, winemaker, told us, it was found in the winery from where several boxes were rescued that today are shared in special moments such as #25deMayo
Had it been created to evolve for so many years? What we know is that Trapiche was one of the advanced wineries in the production of so-called "fine wines" and this wine is proof of it.
This iconic wine was accompanied by the new vintages and the sweet wine from Fon de Cave (📸 in the photos). All this paired with the historical anecdotes shared by the historian Daniel Balmaceda @danibalmaceda and the "locro" of the gods that is made at @elcafedemarcotematico
